Sonepar, an independent family-owned French group and global leader in the B2B distribution of electrical equipment, services, and omnichannel solutions, announces an agreement to acquire 100% of Grupo LCI, an electrical equipment distributor with a national presence in Portugal through its three companies: Tanqueluz, Futurluz, and Vedrel.
By integrating these companies, which are renowned for their deep market knowledge and strong customer relationships, Sonepar will strengthen its ability to provide integrated solutions — combining local agility and expertise with the scale, innovation, and financial strength of a global leader. Grupo LCI will bring €48 million in turnover, 17 branches, and around 200 employees.
