The flash estimate for International Trade in Goods for the 2nd quarter of 2026 points to an increase in both flows: +10.0% in exports and +8.2% in imports, in nominal terms and compared with the same period last year.
Excluding TTE transactions, i.e., with a view to or following processing (without transfer of ownership), a more modest increase was recorded in exports (+2.7%), while imports decreased (-4.9%).
In the 1st quarter of 2026, there was a 6.5% decrease in exports (+0.9% excluding TTE) and a 2.7% increase in imports (+4.3% when TTE are excluded). Therefore, in the 2nd quarter of 2026, a reversal of the downward trajectory in exports and an acceleration in imports were observed.
