New merchant shipping route links Spain, Portugal and Morocco

Spain, Portugal and Morocco linked by a new weekly merchant shipping route operated by CMA CGM.

  • The route will link the ports of Vigo, Leixões, Lisbon, Casablanca, Agadir, Tanger Med and Algeciras in 27 days
  • The shipping company has three vessels, each with a capacity to carry 1,700 containers

Spain, Portugal and Morocco are set to be linked by more than just their joint organisation of the 2030 World Cup. The French shipping company CMA CGM has launched a new service, called Iberimar, which connects the three countries via a weekly route operated by three container ships.
