Portuguese engineering company UTIS will showcase its patented UC3® technology at the FICEM Technical Congress 2026 in Mexico City, reinforcing its international expansion and strengthening ties with key players in the Latin American and Caribbean cement industry.
From 31 August to 4 September, UTIS will participate in the FICEM Technical Congress 2026, the leading technical forum for the cement and concrete industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event will bring together cement producers, industry experts, technology providers and decision-makers, providing UTIS with an opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and partners and engage with the latest developments shaping the sector.
At the congress, UTIS will present its patented UC3® technology, developed in Portugal and implemented in more than 160 industrial projects across over 30 countries.
Based on the controlled application of hydrogen to optimise combustion, UC3® is designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and lower CO₂ emissions, providing measurable industrial benefits across a range of processes.
UTIS’ participation in FICEM further highlights the company’s commitment to engineering excellence, innovation and industrial decarbonisation, while supporting industries in addressing competitiveness and energy-efficiency challenges.
