According to The Portugal News, after accelerating in May, tourism activity grew again in June, but at a slower pace than that seen in the fifth month of the year.

Over the first half of the year, overnight stays grew by 4.5%, reaching 35.5 million, resulting in increases of 12.3% in total revenue and 12.1% in accommodation, a development driven by the contribution of foreigners.
The number of guests in the first six months of the year exceeded 14.3 million, 5.6% more than in the first half of last year.
Over the year, total revenue reached 2.8 billion euros and revenue from accommodation amounted to 2.1 billion euros.
