The Global Peace Index, produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness. The 2024 GPI ranks 163 countries based on various indicators, including levels of violence, conflict, and militarisation. The Index aims to present a comprehensive data-driven analysis of peace trends, the economic value of peace, and the factors that contribute to peaceful societies.
