BEYOND attract exhibitors and visitors from the wider region - MENA, Southeastern Europe and Balkans - with the aim of holding important meetings between companies, professionals & states (B2B & B2G). Has been designed and will be developed in 4 main fields: the Exhibition of Technological Digital Applications Sector, the Conference & Workshops Sector, the Startups Sector and the Research Centers & Universities Sector.
The Exhibition: Beyond 2024 hosted more than 280 exhibitors from 13 countries, technology companies with a strong footprint, achievement of important trade agreements, emergence of new trends and enhanced international character. Participants had the opportunity to share their expertise with more than 15.000 visitors. Furthermore, one of BEYOND's main objective is to develop interaction and collaboration between the different tech areas and fields of innovation. In this context more than 500 B2B meetings were held, last year, during the first 2 days of the event.
The Conference & Parallel Events: The major challenge of Artificial Intelligence set the tone at this year’s BEYOND and was the theme of all its events, with the AI FORUM being typical example and drawing crowds of people. All BEYOND events were equally successful, on all 5 stages of the exhibition, which were constantly filled with creative people and innovative ideas. From the 11th Technology Forum, events on AI in Health, in Agriculture, in Creativity and Workshops by major enterprises on the Digital Work Card, the Conference of Regions of Greece and the Congress of General Secretaries of ‘Kleisthenes’ Local Governments, this year’s BEYOND had it all.
In fact, the Ministerial Leadership Dialogue evolved into an informal ministerial meeting, attended by ministers and representatives of governments from the Balkans, South-Eastern Europe and Turkey, as well as representatives of international organizations such as the Council of Europe, ENISA, and the ITU. In total, there were 440 Greek and foreign speakers.
Beyond 2025 will explore the ethical considerations and societal implications of AI, including issues around bias, privacy, and job displacement. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders, we seek to promote responsible development and deployment of AI technologies that benefit all members of society. Additionally, through this exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in AI, engage with experts in the field, and explore how AI can be leveraged to create positive change. From personalized medicine and smart cities to autonomous vehicles and climate change mitigation, AI has the potential to drive innovation and improve the quality of life for individuals across the world.
