The 2026 edition of the European Prize for Women Innovators has brought to the fore three Portuguese women who represent a new generation of tech entrepreneurs in Europe. Neide Vieira, co-founder and chief operating officer of IPLEXMED, and Ella Frances Cullen, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Mi nespider, are finalists in the EIT Women Leadership category. Sónia Ferreira, founder of BestHealth4U, is among the 18 semi-finalists for this award, promoted by the European Commission through the European Innovation Council and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. The winners will be announced at the European Innovation Council Summit in June 2026.
