The Lean Center of Excellence in Reggio Emilia, Italy, continues to promote Portuguese products, including Flowbotics' robots.
Following its participation in the MECSPE trade fair in Bologna in March 2026, the company is continuing its efforts to promote AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) manufactured in Portugal.
4Lean is a company dedicated to creating and implementing Lean solutions for workstations, logistics trains, supermarkets, warehouses, external logistics, and Lean management. It is currently organising various events for specific target audiences, including installers and end customers. The conference for end customers will focus on safety norms and return on investment. For installers, topics such as ease of installation, how the AMRs work, and integration with other systems will be addressed.
The Italian market is the primary market for 4Lean, accounting for 66% of total turnover. The owner of the Lean Centre of Excellence (with locations in Porto and Reggio Emilia) has set a sales target of 500,000€ for AMRs in the first year of market entry.
The main theme of the Lean Excellence Centre in Italy for 2026 is ergonomics; in 2025, the theme was digitalisation. Since the inauguration of the Lean Excellence Centre in June 2024, 600 people from 400 different companies have visited.
