The Portuguese Footwear, Components, Leather Goods Manufacturers’ Association (APICCAPS) has collaborated with four renowned designers – Theophilio, Campillo, Kallmeyer and Libertine – to create bespoke capsule collections for the Spring/Summer 2026 catwalks at New York Fashion Week, which took place from the 11th to 16th September.
The aim of these collaborations, which included Gladz with Theophilio, Mariano Shoes with Campillo, JJ Heitor with Kallmeyer and Helena Mar with Libertine, is twofold. Firstly, they are intended to showcase Portuguese excellence in craftsmanship. Secondly, they are designed to support designers in expanding their range of offerings.
Ultimately, the idea is to bring each designer's unique aesthetic to life through partnerships with reliable Portuguese producers whose production expertise aligns with APICCAPS’ values of quality, sustainability, and artistic talent.
