Corticeira Amorim has once again secured 1st place in the “Industry” sector of the Merco Portugal 2025 Corporate Reputation Ranking, reinforcing its leadership position for the fifth consecutive year.
In addition to this business recognition, António Amorim, Chairman and CEO of Corticeira Amorim, has been named one of Portugal’s most reputable leaders, climbing three places to reach 11th in Merco’s individual leadership ranking. This distinction highlights the strong and inspiring leadership that has guided the company over the years.
Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) is one of the most prestigious corporate reputation rankings, established in 2000 and recognized across Latin America and Europe. Its evaluation is based on a multi-stakeholder methodology, comprising six assessments and more than 20 information sources, gathering insights from over 2,300 participants, including executives, financial analysts, journalists, NGO representatives, and consumers.
It is the world’s first audited monitor, independently verified by KPMG in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard, ensuring full transparency and rigor in the process.
