The Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) in Carcavelos near Lisbon has secured program funding of 3.6 million euros.
The basis for this financial support is that the university was awarded the highest possible rating of all Portuguese institutions of higher education from the international jury of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
According to a press release issued by Nova SBE, the jury highlighted its strong international focus, study programs taught fully in English, highly international faculty and student body, in addition to the broad network of global partners. The jury likewise emphasized the university’s significant contributions to fields such as finance, development economics, strategy, organizational science, and organizational behavior, as evidenced by the numerous publications in prestigious academic journals. The exceptional quality of its research staff and strong track record of securing external funding was also praised.
