Founded in Tokyo 90 years ago as a telecommunications equipment company, Fujitsu has become a global reference in information and communication technologies. Its presence in Portugal began in the 1970s, with a strong commitment to developing local technical skills for the provision of information technology services, enabling it to consolidate its position in sectors such as retail, banking and public administration.
In 2005, it opened one of its international Global Delivery Centres in Lisbon, with an initial team of 200 employees providing technical support to 40,000 users worldwide. In 2016, it strengthened its operation with the opening of an extension in Braga.Fujitsu currently has more than 2,000 highly specialised employees, providing services to more than 60 customers in various markets.
