Amália Rodrigues has been heard once again in Japan, 55 years after the artist sang at the 1970 World Expo, this time through the voices of three Portuguese fado singers - Ana Moura, Camané and Ricardo Ribeiro - in front of a large audience of different nationalities.
With the concert 'No tempo das Cerejas', Ana Moura, Camané and Ricardo Ribeiro paid tribute to the fado singer Amália Rodrigues at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, closing the National Day of Portugal at Expo and the World Day of the Portuguese Language.
Fado is an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
