With a confirmed presence at Expo 2025 Osaka from 3 to 6 July, the Dialogues collection is heading to Japan to present the Broot project. Comprising unique design pieces, it will make a valuable contribution to promoting Portuguese natural stone and other national materials on the international stage. Five of the 25 pieces from the collection will be on display in Japan.
Broot – Dialogues from Within is the latest project led by ASSIMAGRA, aimed at enhancing the value of traditional materials and their origins, with Portuguese natural stone at its core.
Created to diversify the export potential of the sector and project the national industry abroad, Broot stands out for its experimental approach, placing stone in dialogue with different sustainable materials from across the country. At its heart, it functions as a laboratory of innovation and creativity, fostering new partnerships and collections of original design pieces developed through traditional methods.
This first Broot collection is curated and produced by OLIVAH and emerges from the dialogue between designers, artists and architects with distinct contemporary artistic visions, including Studio Anansi, Studio Olivah, Vítor Reis Cerâmica, JMM Design Studio and Estúdio Eneida Lombe Tavares.
