The Portugal News noticed that the IKEA group has announced a Planning Studio will open in the city of Évora in the Alentejo.
According to Sapo news, the new space will be located in the Évora Plaza shopping center, on the first floor of this center and it will open in Spring 2024.
In the statement sent to the newsroom, IKEA states that “in accordance with the expansion strategy in Portugal and with the ongoing commitment to getting even closer to the Portuguese, IKEA announces the opening of its first Planning Studio in the Alentejo, in Évora”.
“This new opening will take place this spring, and reaffirms the commitment to offering accessible and innovative solutions to meet the needs of Portuguese people across the country”, says the statement issued in March.
“Planning studios are currently IKEA’s main expansion tool in Portugal. We want to be increasingly closer to the Portuguese and seek to have contact points throughout the country”, says Francisco Ferreira, Market Manager at IKEA.
