Condé Nast Traveler describes Arrábida as “one of the best places in Europe to visit in 2025”, while Forbes emphasises that the destination offers “a stunning coastal landscape with ample activities”.
According to the City of Setúbal, Condé Nast Traveler published, in November, the article “The best places to go in Europe in 2025”, in which it included the Portuguese destination, which it considers “a hidden gem”, with “nature at its core in it’s purest state”, castles and “excellent wines”.
“The article points out that, among other attractions, Arrábida has a “dramatic” coastline, with limestone slopes, Mediterranean vegetation, and golden sand beaches, with isolated coves, also pointing out places where it is possible to participate in cheese production workshops”, indicates the information released by the city hall.
The Arrábida Natural Park is described as “the dream of nature enthusiasts”, who have the possibility of diving in the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, hiking through the Serra da Arrábida, seeing dolphins in the Sado estuary or bird watching at Moinho de Maré da Mourisca.
In addition to Arrábida, Condé Nast Traveler also placed Marseille (France), Albania, Faroe Islands, Athens Riviera (Greece), Geneva (Switzerland), Vienna (Austria), Sussex (United Kingdom), Ahr Valley (Germany), Matarraña (Spain) and County Clare (Ireland) among the best destinations to visit in 2025.
