As part of the international growth strategy, the new software development center in Porto will not only expand the
company’s European presence and offer even better support to its global clients (such as LinkedIn, Shutterstock, etc.) but
it will also provide career opportunities and an exciting place to work for both existing and new employees of Parkside
Interactive. A company known for using the latest tech stack, interesting projects and flexible working arrangements plans
to hire additional 50 software developers in the near future.
“It´s all about ‘best talent’ that fits our Parkside values & culture! Attracting highly skilled people from all over the world and
investing in a talented team has always been one of our top priorities. Since both recruiting landscape and employees'
needs have changed enormously in the course of the last two years, we started creating and implementing strategies to
cater to those needs. One of our latest initiatives is our new work model & a corresponding motto ‘work from wherever it
works for you’, be it from home, one of our 3 locations in Austria or from our new office in Porto. High educational
standards, the presence of the global tech community, as well as political stability and emerging economy were some of
the reasons what we chose Porto", explains Parkside Interactive CEO Christoph Platzer.
To facilitate Parkside Interactive’s international growth Paulo Moura joined the company earlier this year as a Managing
Director of the new Portuguese location. “I’ve been working for international companies for years, but what attracted me
to Parkside and made me move from Germany back to Porto are the company values and team spirit. I’ve rarely seen
companies that put such a great emphasis on developing a strong company culture and meeting their employees’ needs &
expectations. I’m happy to be part of this amazing team and to be able to promote their values here in Porto as well. At the
same time, I’m also looking forward to contributing to the company’s growth and success on an international level.” Moura
takes on this new role position after several years in leadership roles at ZF Group and Bosch in Germany.
