Intellias, a global technology partner to Fortune 500 enterprises and top-tier organizations, has launched an engineering centre in Porto, Portugal. Having begun operations in Portugal in 2022, Intellias now held the inauguration ceremony of its first office in Porto, which will also become the Intellias headquarters in the country. Intellias plans to expand the company’s global team of more than 3.200 professionals and to have around 100 engineers in Portugal by the end of 2023.
During the ceremony, Intellias CEO and co-founder, Vitaly Sedler, stated that the company’s decision to enter the Portuguese market is a key component of its global business strategy. He emphasized that Porto has a wide pool of talented engineers and is a perfect location for attracting other professionals from across the globe.
“Intellias Portugal is designed to be a full-scale engineering center for the most sophisticated IT solutions, new products, and cutting-edge technologies. Our primary focus in Portugal is to attract top-quality talent and provide them with challenging technological projects. Through close collaboration with local IT experts, educational institutions, and IT hubs, we aim to build a world-class team of engineers who will join our efforts in shaping the future of mobility”, said Vitaly Sedler, CEO and co-founder of Intellias.
The guests who attended the event included members of Porto City Hall, Invest Porto, AICEP, Porto Tech Hub, and other organizations. During the ceremony, guests had an opportunity to test the live demo of the Intellias Portable Automotive Kit, which is currently in development.
