Europe’s Best Beach
Portugal has two beaches on the list of the best in Europe elected every year by travellers on the "European Best Destinations" website.
The website compiles a list of the 22 most popular beaches in Europe, and Porto Santo beach, in Madeira, was voted the number one Best Beach. Seixal Beach, on Madeira Island, took third place on the list.
