It was on June 10th, the day we celebrate Portugal, that the Portuguese natural stone sector launches the Portuguese Natural Sector brand – StonebyPORTUGAL, that aims to leverage Portugal, the Portuguese Natural Stone and the Portuguese know-how internationally.

StonebyPORTUGAL was launched by the Portuguese Association for Mineral Resources Industry (ASSIMAGRA) on June 10th, at 6 pm on its Facebook and Youtube channels, that also provides a digital Hub of the Portuguese Natural Stone for the purpose of communicate and collect all the information representative of the natural stone sector, a traditional Portuguese sector that stands out for its quality, versatility and technological capacity.


The Natural Stone sector has new tools for communicating and promoting national stone and its industry, which are essential to the stabilization, strengthening and continuous statement of stones in prestigious international markets. Sustaining this new brand is all the relevant technical content about Portuguese stone and the industry that quarries and processes it, as well as promotional information with the connection to other projects, of great resonance developed by the sector that sustain its international recognition.


It should be noted that stone is a natural, unique, and original product, with distinctive properties that can greatly contribute to the competitiveness and enhancement of this material in relation to others applied in the construction of buildings and public areas and spaces. Therefore, it is important to bear in mind the challenge of investing in new ways of communicating with the prescriber and with the final consumer the excellence of Portuguese Natural Stone, its origin, and the capacity for transformation and application in the most diverse contexts and markets, to generate confidence in choosing this material.
